Baukultur on tour

In 2010, the Ruhr with its 53 large and small cities, is the European Capital of Culture. The region has made great efforts to establish regional networks and has developed numerous projects which are to act as beacons for the rest of Europe. To promote the ruhr area and its transformation the discussion platform Baukultur Salon will take news of the most exciting projects on tour to Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Leipzig and the architectural biennale in Venice. The BaukulturPlan Ruhr is an informative guide to baukultur and will assist those who visit the region to discover architectural highlights which range from landscape gardens to architectural icons and bridges – updating visitors’ perceptions of the ruhr area.
